Whether you’ve been a Christian for years, are new to the faith, or are simply exploring Christianity, my hope is that this website will provide resources to help you grow in your understanding of God’s Word and your relationship with Jesus Christ. Along the way, I encourage you to become part of a Bible-believing church where you can worship, grow, and build meaningful relationships with other believers.

Beliefs
A Light to Follow is built upon the historic teachings of the Christian faith as revealed in Scripture.
I believe in one God who has eternally existed as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is equal in power and essence, existing in perfect unity as the Trinity.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah, the Son of the living God. He was crucified for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day, and through His death and resurrection made salvation available to all who place their faith in Him.
I believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by human effort or works. Those who confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead are forgiven of their sins and receive the gift of eternal life.

About the Founder
A Light to Follow is a Christian ministry founded by Mathew Carlo to share the hope of the gospel through thoughtful, Christ-centered resources. After placing his faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 19 and being baptized at 25, he developed a passion for helping others explore Scripture and grow in their relationship with God.
Mathew is married to his wife, Rebecca, and together they make their home in New Hampshire. Through A Light to Follow, he seeks to point others to Jesus Christ by sharing biblical truth in creative, meaningful, and accessible ways.
