About Us
We are a dedicated team committed to serving the Lord our God with passion and purpose. Mathew, the founder of A Light to Follow, embraced faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 19 and was baptized at 25. He is joyfully married to his wife, Rebecca, and together they make their home in New Hampshire. Through A Light to Follow, Mathew seeks to share the good news of God’s grace in creative and meaningful ways, encouraging others to walk in the light of Christ.
What We Believe
We believe in one God who has eternally existed as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is equal in power and essence, existing in perfect harmony as the Trinity.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God. He was crucified for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day.
Through His death on the cross, Jesus provided the means for salvation and the forgiveness of sins. Salvation is given to those who confess Jesus as Lord and believe in His death and resurrection as the sufficient payment for their sins. It is a gift of grace from God, received through faith, not by human effort.
Ephesians 2:8 says “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Our Mission
Whether you’ve been a Christian for years, are new to the faith, or have yet to accept Jesus into your heart, our mission is to equip you with the resources needed to deepen your connection to God’s Word. In your Christian journey, it’s vital to connect with a church and a community of believers who can support and nurture your spiritual growth.
Here at A Light to Follow, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizations and teams that make the resources we share on our site possible.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
